Governing Board

Here at Orsett CE Primary School the governors are committed to ensuring that the school continues to improve its provision for each and every child.  They do this by offering both support and challenge through: monitoring, face to face meetings, spending time in school, analysing data and planning for the future by having a strategic vision for our school. The Governing Board meet half-termly for Full Governing Body Meetings and then also undertake monitoring activities linked to the OFSTED judgement areas: Achievement and Standards, Quality of Teaching, Behaviour and Safety, Leadership and Management. They also monitor Finance & Premises and Admissions. There are 12 members of our Governing Body and the Governors are either parents, foundation governors (with connections to the Church), Local Authority governor or members of staff.
